PRP Facial in Wellington, FL: The Regenerative Glow Protocol™
The Regenerative Glow Protocol™ pairs platelet-rich plasma (PRP) prepared from your own blood with medical microneedling to support collagen, texture and tone. It was designed by Dr. Anna Frisch, MD, PhD, Board Certified in Endocrinology, who supervises every regenerative protocol at Palm Beach Cosmetic Medicine.

What a PRP facial is.
A small amount of your blood is drawn in our office and concentrated on the EmCyte PurePRP SupraPhysiologic system to separate the platelet-rich plasma. Your skin is then treated with medical microneedling, which creates controlled micro-channels, and the PRP is applied during and after treatment. Platelets carry growth factors that take part in the skin's normal repair process, the same response microneedling is designed to start.
What patients use it for.
Texture and pores
Microneedling with PRP is commonly used to refine rough texture and the look of enlarged pores.
Fine lines
A series can soften the look of fine lines as new collagen forms over the following months.
Acne scarring
Rolling and boxcar acne scars are among the most common reasons patients ask about PRP microneedling.
Dullness and uneven tone
Many patients come for brighter, more even skin as part of a longer skin plan.
Why an endocrinologist designed it.
Skin repairs itself under hormonal control. Estrogen decline in perimenopause and menopause, thyroid function, insulin resistance and stress hormones all affect collagen and healing. Dr. Frisch's protocol starts with your history, and when a panel is indicated, blood can be drawn in-house and she interprets the results herself. The depth, spacing and number of sessions in your series are set by protocol and reviewed as your skin responds.

PRP facial, microneedling or PRF?
Microneedling on its own suits many texture goals. PRF is our choice for the under-eye area. For thinning hair, PRP follows a separate protocol. Dr. Frisch's team recommends the right option at consultation.

Why an Endocrinologist Designed Our PRP Protocol
Hair loss is rarely just a hair problem. Thyroid function, androgens, insulin resistance, and nutritional status all drive thinning, and a standard med spa is not equipped to consider any of them. Dr. Frisch built the Root Cause Hair Restoration Protocol™ the way an endocrinologist builds any treatment plan: evaluation first, then a customized PRP formulation on the EmCyte PurePRP system, then a structured series with a maintenance plan. It is the difference between buying injections and following medicine.
Dr. Anna Frisch is a board-certified endocrinologist with an MD, a PhD, more than 26 years in practice and internationally cited research. Endocrinology studies how hormones govern hair, skin, weight and energy, which is why the questions asked here differ from those asked where the scalp is treated as a surface.
She designs every regenerative protocol at Palm Beach Cosmetic Medicine and performs every PRP injection herself. The evaluation, the preparation, the formulation, the cadence and the maintenance schedule are hers. Topical PRP with microneedling is provided by our medical aesthetician, working to her protocol.
The Regenerative Glow Protocol™, our physician-designed pairing of PRP with microneedling, applies the same logic to the skin. Collagen decline isn't just about time or sun, hormones, stress, and metabolic health all affect how your skin repairs itself, which is why the formulation, depth, and spacing of your series are set by protocol and reviewed as your skin responds, not applied off a standard template.
Common questions
- Is a PRP facial the same as PRP microneedling?
- Yes. At PBCM the PRP facial is medical microneedling with your own PRP, delivered as the Regenerative Glow Protocol™.
- How many sessions will I need?
- Most plans are a series of treatments spaced several weeks apart. Dr. Frisch's protocol sets the number and spacing from your skin and history, and your plan is explained at consultation.
- Who performs the treatment?
- Dr. Frisch designs the protocol. Topical PRP with microneedling is provided by Elizabeth Melendez, our medical aesthetician, working to that protocol.
- Is PRP FDA-approved for the face?
- PRP is prepared on an FDA-cleared device. Its use with microneedling for the skin is a physician-directed use, which is explained at your consultation.
- Is it suitable for darker skin tones?
- Microneedling does not use heat or light, so it is commonly used across skin tones. Your skin type and history are reviewed before treatment.
- Can I pay over time?
- Monthly payment options are available through Cherry. Cost is discussed at consultation before treatment begins.
