Patients ask me how to rebuild collagen naturally more often than they ask about any single treatment, and the honest answer is more interesting than the usual list. Collagen synthesis is not a habit. It is a biological process with prerequisites, and most of the advice circulating online addresses the raw materials while ignoring whether the body is currently in a state that permits the process to run at all.

What collagen actually is, and why it declines

Collagen is the structural protein that gives skin its firmness and resilience.
